I thought I would share a short yet sweet inspirational poem -
and show some beautiful pictures I’ve taken at the same time. xoxo
With the calmness of the waves
All my worries just go away
Day in and day out,
The waves roll in
and they roll out
Each day is not like the last
Some days are rocky,
and some are smooth
Just like my diabetes,
every day I face this truth
God is good – God is great
God works in mysterious ways
Here I am today
He gives me a reason to fight
I have so much essence to my life
I’m making it through the one thing I thought would break me
Not knowing that it actually made me
The strong person I am and see today
It’s made me appreciate life in a whole other way
I finally found peace with who I am
I can conquer it all
And I will stand
I will not let diabetes defeat me
I will not let the rough waves of the sea,
overthrow me
I’m going to embrace every day to the fullest
through the good and the bad
Because I know I can do this
Thank you God for another beautiful day
I’m so blessed to find the beauty in all that surrounds me,
You’ve given me hope in all that can be…
